This case really hits hard, thinking about Kilani and how his life was just starting to take off. I've been reading about him, and it sounds like he was living a life many of us dream of—enjoying the California coast, surfing, and fighting for causes he believed in. It's so tragic that an everyday moment could escalate to something so final. I keep wondering about his family back in Jordan. They must be going through so much, and being so far away must make this unimaginably difficult. I hope the community here can do something to keep his story alive, especially since there’s been no significant progress in identifying the suspect. Maybe someone with dashcam footage or someone who saw something, even the smallest detail, could come forward and help the investigation. It’s distressing to think the person responsible is still out there, and Kilani and his loved ones deserve justice and peace.
