I’ve been looking into older unsolved cases, and Danny Wayne Madden’s story caught my attention. Something that's been puzzling me is why his case took so long to be entered into NamUs. Over 40 years is a pretty long time, and I wonder if this delay has affected the investigation negatively. Surely having it in the system earlier could have brought more eyes on it and maybe even new leads. Does anyone know if there are other similar cases in Oklahoma that faced the same delay in getting recorded in NamUs? It makes me think there could be systemic issues at play. Could this have hindered efforts to find out what really happened to Danny? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
