Anyone else think it's odd that Justina's personal belongings were found neatly packed on the nearby shore? I've been pondering why her stuff would end up there if the F/V Sea Hawk capsized in the bay. Could it mean she made it to land somehow? Also, has anyone dug deeper into the crew's accounts of what happened that day? I wonder if any inconsistencies might suggest something more than just an accident. I feel for her family—finding answers must seem like an uphill battle right now. Let's keep sharing any new info we come across.
Has anyone else been following Justina's case? It's been on my mind a lot, especially thinking about the conditions in Inanudak Bay that day. Weather and seas in that area can be brutal, even for seasoned fishermen. I read that the Coast Guard did a thorough search, but given the rough seas and water temperatures, it must've been incredibly challenging. The Sea Hawk was apparently well-equipped, so what went wrong? Did the weather change suddenly, or was there an issue with the vessel? I know these are just questions that might never get answers, but it's so frustrating thinking about her out there and not knowing what truly happened. Anyone have insights into what the Coast Guard would do next in cases like this with such rough conditions?
Has anyone else been following the case of Justina, the cook from the F/V Sea Hawk? Something that's been on my mind is the weather conditions at the time of the incident. I read that storms can be pretty brutal in that area during the fishing season. Do we have any specific information on what the weather was like when the vessel capsized? If it was really rough, could the Coast Guard have missed something in the water? I know they were quick to respond, but sometimes nature just doesn’t cooperate with search efforts. Just trying to wrap my head around what might have happened out there.
