I’m Harold Rodriguez. I was one of the people arrested in this case. I want to clarify that while the attempted robbery did happen, I had nothing to do with Alexander Romero’s death. I was the only person who turned myself in to the San Francisco Police Department while I was with the body. SFPD took my information, but because the homicide was outside their jurisdiction, they contacted Butte County Sheriff’s Department so they could take the body. What concerns me is that, as far as I know, Butte County Sheriff’s Department did not move forward with an investigation, despite the information I provided, including the names of people I knew or believed were involved. I’m sharing this because I believe the family deserves answers, and I’m willing to provide information if it can help.”

I came across the recent arrests related to the tragic death of Alexander Licona-Romero, and it got me thinking about how cases like this highlight the intricate web of risks involved in illegal marijuana operations. It's truly concerning to see how young people, like Alexander, are drawn into these dangerous situations. The fact that his life ended so abruptly is a stark reminder of the urgent need for more awareness and prevention efforts, especially among youth susceptible to becoming involved in such activities.
It's also interesting to see the collaboration between different law enforcement agencies like the SFPD and the Butte County Sheriff's Office. I think it shows just how complicated these cases can be—crossing city and county lines adds layers of complexity to an already challenging investigation. I hope the additional arrests can help bring some closure to Alexander's family and friends. In the spirit of community support, spreading the word about this case might encourage anyone with crucial information to come forward. Have any of you seen similar cases where inter-agency cooperation has made a significant impact on solving the case?

Here to help; Harold

I've been following the case of Alexander Licona-Romero with a heavy heart. It's truly tragic how a young life ended in such a violent manner. What stands out to me is the dangerous setting these illegal marijuana cultivation sites create. They often lead people into desperate, risky situations. I keep thinking about Alexander's family in Oakland, who must be going through such a tough time, trying to process the loss of a son, brother, or friend in such a horrific way.
The arrests of Harold Rodriguez-Blanco and Graciela Buenrostromendoza are definitely a significant development, but it makes me wonder about their backgrounds and what led them down this path. I also think about how many more people could be involved and what the ongoing investigation might reveal.
If anyone has any insights or updates, especially those close to the investigation or who might have known Alexander, your input could be invaluable. This community is always great at piecing together information, and if it helps the authorities get some justice or resolution for Alexander's family, that would be a meaningful outcome. Stay safe, everyone, and let's hope for more answers soon.
