I’ve been following Jesse Wilson’s case for a while now, and something that’s always stuck with me is how close his remains were found to his home. It’s incredibly unsettling to think that for two years, he was right there—within miles of the place he was supposed to feel safest. It’s devastating for his biological family and everyone who was searching for him. I wonder if there were any specific reasons the area where he was found wasn't fully explored earlier on in the investigation? Were there limitations in the search efforts, or did the lack of evidence at the time really just make it so difficult to locate him sooner? It’s haunting to think of all the what-ifs. My heart goes out to his family—never giving up hope must have been so exhausting but necessary.
