I’ve been thinking a lot about Bruce Elwell's disappearance recently, and something keeps nagging at me. I wonder if there has been any new technology that law enforcement could use to revisit old evidence or leads? Considering how far forensic technology and DNA analysis have come since the late '80s, it's possible there might be something that was missed back then that could be a breakthrough now. Does anyone know if any cold cases similar to Bruce's have been solved thanks to modern techniques? It would be great to see some progression in his case, especially for his family who still holds onto hope.
Hey everyone, I was just reading about Bruce Elwell's case, and something struck me that I hadn’t pondered before. Has anyone looked into the possibility of Bruce being involved in any outdoor activities that might have placed him at risk? York, Maine, has a lot of natural areas and coastal spots that could easily turn treacherous. I wonder if Bruce was an avid hiker or had any favorite spots he liked to visit. If anyone has any local knowledge about hazardous areas or accidents at that time, it might be worth considering. It’s always tough when details are scarce, but sometimes the smallest clue can help shed some light! Any insight from locals would be much appreciated.
