I can't stop thinking about how the neighborhood on West Central Avenue must be feeling after Edwin Medina's tragic death. It's really unsettling to imagine people living under the constant fear of gang activity right outside their doors. Growing up in a community where this kind of violence happens must leave a lasting impact on everyone, especially knowing someone like Edwin, who was a part of their lives, was taken in such a senseless act. I'm hoping that folks in the area can rally together to help out the investigation. Turning in tips might feel scary, but keeping silent won't bring any change. If you know something, please consider reaching out. It's crucial for the Medina family and helps make the neighborhood safer for everyone who still calls it home.
