I've been reading about Teddy Michael Campos's case, and one thing that stood out is the arrest and release of Alexis Martinez. I can't imagine how incredibly tough it must have been for Teddy's family during that period when the charges were initially dropped. To lose a loved one so suddenly and then face the uncertainty of justice being served must have been deeply unsettling. The pressure on RBPD to gather enough evidence must have been immense, but I'm glad they persisted. It’s a relief that this case eventually saw a resolution with Martinez's plea and sentencing. I'm hoping this brings at least some peace to Teddy's family and friends, but it's so sad that it took so long. It's a reminder of how complex the legal system can be, and how much patience and resilience is required from the victims' families during these trials. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone who knew and cared about Teddy.
