Hey everyone, I was combing through some old newspaper archives and stumbled upon something interesting about Melena Montoya's case. Back in the mid-90s, there was a brief mention of a witness who thought they saw her at a gas station on the outskirts of Albuquerque a couple of days after she went missing. They reported it to the police, but it seems like nothing much came out of it. Does anyone know if this lead was ever properly followed up on, or if more details are available about this sighting? It just seems like such a random place for her to be if she was planning to meet her boyfriend that day. Just trying to understand if this was ever part of the official timeline. Would appreciate any insights!
