Has anyone else noticed how cases like Blanca Gonzalez's often get lost in the shuffle because of how many missing person cases there are in Oklahoma? It's like the system is overwhelmed. I was reading about how NamUs is supposed to help bridge the gap, linking families and law enforcement with unidentified remains, but I wonder how effective it really is. Are resources like this enough, or are they just a small piece of a much bigger puzzle? It's so important that we keep talking about cases like Blanca's so they don’t disappear from public view. Does anyone here have experience with how community-led initiatives can help in situations like hers?
