It's truly tragic to hear about Ronald's case. I noticed in the reports that Ronald had a history of legal issues, but it seems like there hasn't been much discussion about why our system seems to fail individuals like him. It brings up the important conversation around rehabilitation and support for those with prior offenses. Maybe if there were more support systems in place, things could have turned out differently for Ronald. My heart goes out to his family, and it's just a reminder of how crucial it is to look beyond someone's past and see the person they are. Hoping that justice is served and Ronald’s loved ones receive the support they need in this difficult time.
Hi everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the location where Ronald Ray Garrett was found. The 1100 block of North Stoddard Avenue isn't exactly the first place you'd imagine for something like this, is it? From what I know, it’s generally a quiet neighborhood. I can't help but wonder if this was a random act or if there's something about that specific location that drew both Garrett and Weltch there.
Maybe someone who lived nearby saw something unusual in the days leading up to the 12th? It’s such a disturbing thought that someone possibly witnessed something suspicious or saw the suspect beforehand and hasn’t come forward yet. If anyone here lives around that area or has spent time there, it’d be insightful to hear if there were any other incidents or noticeable tensions lately.
Friend or foe, every detail counts in painting a full picture for Ronald’s sake and offering his family some peace. It seems the investigation is still gathering steam, and details might fill in some missing puzzle pieces. If you remember anything at all from around that time or place, it could help.
Thoughts with Ronald’s family and friends during this awful time. Let's hope for some clarity and justice soon.
