Hey everyone, I've been following the mysterious case of Jeffrey Kays, who vanished from Camano Island way back in '99, and one thing that keeps puzzling me is how quiet everything seems to have gone publicly. I know sometimes investigations keep things under wraps for a reason, but it feels like there should've been more rumblings over the years, at least among his friends or community members. Have any locals heard any theories or rumors about what could’ve happened to him? Sometimes those can provide clues or at least spark new ideas for where to look. I’m curious whether social media has played any role in re-investigating older cases like this, especially since it wasn't around back then. Hoping that one day the right piece of information will surface to give his family the closure they need.

Hey everyone, I've been following Jeffrey Kays' case for a while now, and something I've always found puzzling is the lack of physical evidence. It's like he just vanished into thin air with no trace. I've read through a bunch of old articles, and there's almost nothing about personal items being found or any clues left behind. You'd think there'd be something, anything, that could point investigators in a particular direction, right? It's so frustrating because a location or item could possibly trigger a memory or a lead from someone who might not even realize what they know is significant. It makes me wonder if there might be some kind of environmental factor at play here given the area's geography—dense woods, water, etc. That might have swallowed up evidence over time? Anyway, just some thoughts I've been tossing around. Anybody else have any ideas on this angle?

Hey everyone, just wanted to bring up something that's been bugging me about Jeffrey Kays' disappearance. I've been reading through what little is available about the case, and one thing that stood out to me is the timing of it all. He was last seen on June 16, 1999, but there's hardly any info on what he was doing or where he was in the days leading up to that. Does anyone else find that strange? It makes me wonder if there were any routine activities he did that no one's talking about, or maybe places he frequented regularly. Just thinking that understanding his normal pattern might give some clues about what happened. Thoughts? Anyone from the area back then remember any details?
