Has anyone looked into whether Reyes Serna Macias might have been keeping in touch with any friends or associates outside of his close family network? Sometimes people have connections nobody in the family knows about. It seems odd that all his personal items were left behind, like maybe he was planning to come right back. The area around Sage Trail Road isn't exactly bustling, so it's hard to believe he just vanished without a trace. Maybe someone local could shed some light on what might have been going on around there back in ‘99. It's also curious that his picking harness was found with his things—was he working nearby or planning to head out shortly? I wonder if anyone followed up on that lead back then.
