Has anyone else noticed the strong sense of community support that's been coming together after the passing of Cathy and Sammie Palmer? I’ve been reading how colleagues and friends at the Knox County Property Assessor's Office are rallying around each other and sharing memories of Cathy’s dedication and kindness. It’s clear she left a lasting impact on everyone she interacted with, and it’s heartwarming to see people supporting one another during such a difficult time. The Powell Masonic Lodge too has been offering solace to its members, remembering Sammie’s contributions and companionship. I just hope this communal strength provides some comfort to both families as they navigate through this. If anyone has information on how to get involved with local support efforts, please share! I think it’s important we do whatever we can to stand together.

Does anyone know if there's been any update on the timeline or events leading up to the tragedy involving Cathy and Sammie Palmer? I can’t stop thinking about how this has left a huge void in the lives of those who knew them. I remember reading about how dedicated Cathy was at the Property Assessor’s Office. Her colleagues must be feeling her absence profoundly. It's just devastating to think someone so committed could be suddenly gone. My heart goes out to everyone struggling to come to terms with this loss. If anyone has heard anything new or has insights on how the community is coping, please share. It's times like these that truly remind us to hug our loved ones a little tighter.
