Wow, this case is so puzzling. I've been following the updates on Yoshiko and Shima Funakoshi, and I can't stop thinking about that debris found 10 miles from Wainwright. It's baffling that, despite the extensive search efforts in the area, there hasn't been any sign of them. I know the ocean depth is 75 feet there, but with today's technology, I would have expected they could recover something more significant by now. Does anyone know how effective current underwater search tech is in conditions like this? I've heard it can be really challenging with certain ocean currents and visibility issues. Wondering if anyone has insights or theories on what might be happening with this investigation.
I've been following the Yoshiko and Shima Funakoshi case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the ocean conditions where their plane supposedly went down. The debris and oil slick were discovered 10 miles northeast of Wainwright, and I'm wondering if ocean currents in that area might have moved the wreckage or any potential survivors further than the search teams have been looking. Does anyone have any knowledge or expertise on how these ocean currents work in that part of Alaska? It seems crucial to consider, especially with the depth being around 75 feet. It feels like there might be a chance we're missing something vital due to ocean patterns. Any insights or resources would be greatly appreciated.
