Hey everyone, I’ve been looking into the Janita Gay Sites case and I can't stop thinking about her pets that were left behind in her apartment. It's just so strange and sad. From what I understand, she really loved them and wouldn’t have just left them without making some kind of arrangement. I wonder what happened to them and if any neighbors or family members noticed anything unusual about how they were being treated while she was missing. Does anyone know if this aspect was investigated thoroughly? Maybe her pets could’ve offered some clues about her last whereabouts or condition. If anyone has more information on this part of the case, please share. It’s such a puzzling aspect that might hold more answers than initially thought.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Janita Gay Sites’ case for a bit now, and something that's really been gnawing at me is the timing of when her disappearance was actually reported. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that it took months before she was officially reported missing. We know that Janita maintained regular contact with her daughter, Michelle, until they suddenly lost touch in September 2005. It's so puzzling why it took until early 2006 for the family to report Janita missing, especially since Michelle was immediately concerned.
Does anyone here have insight into why there might have been such a delay? I've seen discussions where families sometimes face hurdles with law enforcement initially taking them seriously, especially when adults go missing. It’s just such a crucial time window, and I wonder if things might have turned out differently if she had been reported sooner. Any thoughts on what might have happened during that gap in reporting or how this delay might have affected the investigation?
