Has anyone else noticed the lack of public updates in John O'Connell's case lately? It's been years since he went missing near the Lower Niagara River, and yet, there's still so little information available. I'm just wondering if the search areas were thoroughly covered back then, considering the challenging terrain and currents of that river. It's a tough spot to search, and I keep thinking about all the nooks and crannies along the riverbed—so much could be missed even with extensive efforts. Does anyone have insights or know if there have been any independent search efforts by the community or family since the initial investigation? It seems like every bit of information could be crucial at this point.
Has anyone been following the John O'Connell disappearance case? I’ve been digging through articles and forums, and it makes me wonder about the Lower Niagara River currents around that time of year. I read that the river can be particularly treacherous due to the rapids and strong currents. Could this have played a role in why search teams haven’t been able to recover his body? Does anyone here have local knowledge of the area or experience with recovery efforts in such environments? It's baffling how nature can sometimes make these cases so complex. Any insights or theories would be appreciated!
