Hey, everyone! I've been following the Rene Escobar Sanchez case for a while now, and something about it still baffles me. So, Venegas confessed to killing Rene and burying him near I-20 and Moss Avenue, but nothing was found when they searched that spot. Does anyone think it's possible that Venegas is covering for someone else, or maybe even trying to divert attention from the real location of Rene’s remains? It just seems strange that he would admit to it but not provide the right location. Could there be more people involved, or is this just a case of him not willing to give up the full story? Would love to hear what others think about this theory.

Has anyone taken a fresh look at the distance between Rene's house and the area where Venegas claimed to have buried him? I've been mulling over whether this reported location, near Interstate 20 and Moss Avenue, was chosen with intent or if it was the result of a hurried decision. I mean, that's a fairly open area, often trafficked, which seems a risky choice if you're trying to hide something. I wonder if maybe Venegas got spooked or if he remembered wrong about the spot. It's haunting to think Rene’s family still hasn't found closure all these years later. Would love to hear others' thoughts on why the location didn’t reveal any remains despite the confession.
