Has anyone else been thinking about the role of self-defense in this case? It's just so tragic to see how things escalated to such a dire point. None of us were there, and we can only imagine how traumatic it must've been for everyone involved, especially for the families who are now left picking up the pieces. I can't help but think about John Doe, the guy who had to make that split-second decision to defend his friends and that child. I mean, what a difficult situation to be thrust into. It's a relief that he was legally justified, but still, it isn't something you'd wish on anyone. The emotional toll must be immense. Thoughts and prayers go out to Edgar's loved ones too, who are dealing with such an unfathomable loss. It's clear that rash decisions have far-reaching consequences. Hug your loved ones tight, folks. You just never know how quickly things can change.
