Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Trooper Rougeau's beloved Boxers, Winnie and Charlie. Pets provide such incredible support and companionship, and I can only imagine how much comfort they brought Jay during his off-duty hours. It breaks my heart to think about the impact his absence might have on them. I hope the family is finding ways to keep them in a loving environment, which I'm sure they are. Dogs like that can sense loss too and often grieve alongside their human families. I’m sending thoughts to Chloe and the extended Rougeau family; hopefully, some fond memories of happier times with Jay and those pups offer them a bit of solace. Has anyone heard if there are any local initiatives to support the Trooper's family, perhaps something to ensure the Boxers get plenty of love and attention? Just knowing small things are being taken care of might ease the burden a little for his loved ones.
