Hey everyone, I was thinking about William Darden’s case again the other day — you know, "Shorty." I've been following his story for a while, and one thing that really stands out to me is the detail about his deformed pinky finger. It's such a unique identifier and I keep wondering why no one's come forward who might recognize him with this detail. It's been over a decade and still nothing substantial has surfaced. Have there been any similar cases in Fayetteville around that timeframe where distinct physical traits played a role in solving the case? Maybe we can find a pattern or someone who remembers seeing him around with that specific feature. Any thoughts or similar stories?

It's been years, and we're still left with no answers about what happened to Shorty. What baffles me is how visible he was in the community; you'd think someone would have seen something. I can't help but wonder, with so many people around the downtown bus station and B Street area, did anyone spot anything unusual back in December 2012? I recall there were some issues with local surveillance footage from around that time too. Does anyone remember hearing about that or know if there were any technical problems with the cameras that might have affected the investigation? Sometimes the smallest detail can be the key to unraveling the truth. Keeping Shorty’s family in my thoughts as they continue seeking answers.
