Has anyone else been drawn to Brenda's story because of that PFA order denial? It's just so mind-boggling to me that someone can go through the process of seeking legal protection, and then it falls through due to lack of "burden of proof." It makes you wonder about the system in place that's supposed to protect individuals in volatile situations like this. Brenda clearly took steps to safeguard herself, yet here we are discussing this tragedy. It must be incredibly painful for her family to think that the outcome might have been different had the order been granted. Sending loving thoughts to everyone affected and hoping they find some peace in this difficult time.

I've been thinking a lot about the denied PFA order in Brenda's case. It's so difficult to understand how these decisions are made and the impact they can have on someone's life. Brenda clearly took steps to protect herself, filing for the PFA when she felt threatened. I wonder what burden of proof was missing that led to the denial. It's hard not to question whether there could have been a different outcome if the order had been granted. It really makes me think about how the system might need changes to better support individuals in similar situations. My heart goes out to Brenda's family and everyone affected. Losing someone in such a devastating way is beyond comprehension. Thoughts?
