Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the safety protocols (or the lack thereof) at the Delaware County Linen facility. It’s unsettling to hear about the concerns raised by coworkers about Rosado-Ruiz before the tragedy unfolded. It makes me wonder if management had taken those concerns seriously, could this horrific event have been prevented?
It’s crucial for companies, especially in high-stress environments, to have robust mechanisms for addressing and acting upon reports of worrying behavior among employees. My heart truly goes out to the Peña-Peña family and the others affected. I hope this serves as a wake-up call for companies everywhere to prioritize their employees’ safety both physically and emotionally.
Sending supportive thoughts to everyone grappling with this awful incident. ?
I can't stop thinking about the inadequate warning signs leading up to the tragedy at Delaware County Linen. It’s chilling to learn that concerns were voiced by coworkers about Wilbert Rosado-Ruiz's behavior prior to the incident. A meeting was even set up to address these issues just a day before the shooting. It makes me wonder, could anything have been done differently to prevent the loss of Giguenson and Leovanny?
It’s such a devastating reality that two hardworking individuals with dreams of supporting their family were taken in such a senseless manner. The system seems to have failed them, allowing someone with reported erratic behavior to remain in such a vulnerable workplace environment. My heart goes out to everyone affected, especially their family who must now navigate life without their beloved brothers. It’s a sobering reminder of how crucial it is to take workplace safety and mental health concerns seriously.
