Has anyone else been following the developments in the Lance Riely case? I can't help but think about the children who were nearby when the shooting happened. It must be incredibly traumatic for them to have witnessed or even heard the gunfire. I hope they're getting the support they need. The impact of an event like this goes beyond just the immediate victim and extends to innocents caught in the crossfire, both figuratively and literally. It's a stark reminder of how quickly things can escalate and how many lives are affected by such violence. Prayers for Lance's family, those kids, and everyone else involved.
