Hey all, I recently came across Frank Joseph Verucchi's case and something's been puzzling me. Why leave all personal items, including his ID and car, at home if he was just going for a hike? Isn't that unusual? Most hikers I know at least take their ID in case of emergencies, especially in areas like Corner Canyon where getting lost or injured is a possibility. Could it be he wasn't planning on a typical hike or is there a chance he intended to come back shortly? It's odd that his cell was active for three days after he vanished too. Does anyone know if the phone was traced or if there was any activity on it during that time? Can’t shake the feeling there's more to this story, and maybe someone in the community noticed something out of the ordinary back then. Keep your eyes open, folks. Every detail counts.
