Has anyone else been keeping up with Kelly Kane's case? I can't stop thinking about how she stepped in to help, and it cost her life. It's a stark reminder of how dangerous it can be to get involved, even with the best intentions. Kelly clearly cared deeply about her community, which is evident in how active she was with local teams and events. I didn't know her personally, but her story has resonated with me. It’s terrifying that the shooter still hasn’t been caught. I'm praying for her son, Matthew. It’s unimaginable to lose a mom at his age. If anyone has insights or updates, please share. Let's keep her story alive and support her family in any way we can.

I've been thinking a lot about the impact that Kelly's murder has had on our community, especially on those close to her, like her son, Matthew. It's truly unsettling knowing that such a tragic event occurred because she was doing what many of us hope we'd have the courage to do—stepping in to help. It takes a special kind of bravery to try and break up a fight, especially not knowing how things might escalate. It makes you wonder if there's enough support or enough community awareness about how to safely intervene in volatile situations. Maybe there are some local programs or resources out there that help with conflict resolution or alternatives to violence? Also, if anyone has any updates or thoughts on the investigation, it'd be great to keep this thread alive and continue supporting Kelly's family however we can. Every little bit helps, right? If you haven’t already seen it, there's a GoFundMe set up for Matthew, which is a meaningful way to lend a hand during this difficult time. Let's keep Kelly's spirit alive by fostering community support and urging others to speak out if they have any information. Stay safe, everyone.
