Has anyone else heard about the vigil that's being organized for Ridge Moore? I think it’s happening this weekend near South 14th and Hunter Streets. It seems like one of those community-led efforts to bring everyone together during this time of immense grief. I didn't know Ridge personally, but from the stories I've read and what community members are saying, this kid had an impact on so many people. There's something heartbreakingly beautiful about how the community is pulling together in his memory. In times like these, it's crucial for us to show up for one another and for Ridge's family. If anyone is thinking about attending, please share more details if you know them. It’s so important we support them and send a strong message against violence in our community.
