Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Britton Owens and something that really caught my attention is the emotional impact on his daughter. As a parent myself, I can't even begin to imagine what she's going through, especially having just graduated before losing her father in such a tragic way. While there seems to be some closure with Jamal Dean's sentencing, I'm thinking about the long-term support this young girl might need. It's reassuring to hear that her uncle and the rest of the family are committed to being there for her, but it must be a huge adjustment for everyone involved. If anyone knows of community efforts or fundraisers to help support her, I think it would be great to share those here. Our thoughts are definitely with Britton's family as they navigate this painful journey.
