I’ve been following the case of Steven Andrea Jones II, and something that's been on my mind is the location of the shooting. It occurred near a Dollar General on Rock Quarry Road, which has a lot of foot traffic and businesses around. It’s just so unsettling to think such violence happened in an area where people are going about their everyday lives. I wonder if any witnesses might have seen something crucial, considering the time of day and the open surroundings. It feels like there might be people out there with snippets of information that could add up to clearer answers for Steven’s friends and family. He was only going to a store, something we all do without thinking much of it. The randomness of it all is terrifying, and I hope anyone with even the smallest piece of info reaches out to Crime Stoppers. My thoughts are with his loved ones as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. ?

Hey everyone, just wanting to share some thoughts about the tragic shooting of Steven Andrea Jones II. It’s devastating to think about how this senseless act took away a young life. I’ve been thinking a lot about the fact that this happened so close to a busy area with shops and everyday folks going about their business. It really makes you realize how unpredictable and fragile life can be. I was at that Dollar General just a few weeks ago, and it's hard to imagine something so terrible happening there. The fact that the suspect, Montravius Montgomery, has been arrested maybe offers some hope for accountability, but it certainly doesn't bring back Steven or ease the pain his loved ones must be feeling. It’s important that we continue to support Steven’s family and seek justice for him. I hope those who might know more about what happened will be encouraged to come forward. Maybe if we all stay alert, supportive, and vocal, we can contribute to making our community a safer place. Let's remember Steven not just as another tragic story but as a person who mattered and was taken far too soon. Keeping his family in my thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
