Does anyone else find it incredibly sad to read about how often the police had been called to the Lockamy residence before this tragedy happened? Multiple reports of domestic disturbances seem to have been ignored, and now things have escalated to something unimaginable. I can't help but think about how complex family dynamics can be and what might have been avoided if intervention had happened sooner. Imagine living with that tension and fear, knowing help was close but, for whatever reason, never quite enough. My heart truly goes out to Matthew's family. No family should have to endure such loss and turmoil. I hope they can find some semblance of peace in the future.
