Has anyone else been following the details of the surveillance footage from the Tobacco House? I'm struck by the boldness of someone committing such a heinous act in broad daylight and so close to a tight-knit community. It's hard to imagine the fear Mike must have felt in those moments, doing what he loved and serving his community. The description of the suspect's attire is so distinct—I hope it helps in piecing together more of what happened that day. My heart goes out to Mike's wife and daughter; I can’t begin to understand the pain they’re going through. Imagining what they must face moving forward is truly difficult. It's reassuring, at least, that the community is rallying to support them, but nothing can replace the loss of Mike in their lives. Let's hope justice is served and that this case sheds light on how we can prevent such tragedies in the future.
