Hello everyone,
I've been puzzling over Curtis Levall Turner's disappearance and decided to dive deeper into the environmental risks related to the marshland around Camp Road in Slidell. The proximity of the West Pearl River seems like a huge factor that can't be ignored. Could the unpredictable nature of the marsh—maybe quicksand-like conditions or water currents—be responsible for his sudden disappearance? We know the area can get pretty wild with the tides and weather changes. I'm curious if anyone knows more about how locals deal with these conditions or has insights on any previous incidents in the area. Appreciate your thoughts on how the environment might have played a part in this mystery.
Stay safe out there,

Has anyone else been troubled by the fact that Curtis Levall Turner’s phone and car were left behind? I know it’s been mentioned before, but I can’t wrap my head around why someone would leave without these essentials, especially if they were planning on coming back. The area is pretty unforgiving—marshland, thick woods, and the river nearby. If he intended to just go for a quick walk or anything, surely he'd have taken at least his phone, right? Also, has there been any info on the investigation looking into potential wildlife encounters in the area? With the West Pearl River and all that water around, it makes me wonder if they considered something unexpected? Just thinking out loud here, any insights would be appreciated!
