I've been following Jermaine Wilkins' case closely and I just can't stop thinking about how the Beechwood community has been reacting. It's so devastating to hear how neighbors who knew and cared about Jermaine are coping. From what I've read, he sounded like such a genuine person, someone with a kind heart who could light up a room. It's so tragic that his life was snuffed out so senselessly.

It must be incredibly difficult for someone like Cheryl, who advocates so much for the community, to see someone she thought highly of being taken away so brutally. This really underscores the ongoing issues with youth crime in Rochester. It's disturbing to see someone so young as Marbury involved in something so horrific.
