Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Jacqueline "Jackie" Billini's murder, and I can't stop thinking about how the system failed her and her loved ones. The details about her history with the suspect, Lenue Moore, are incredibly concerning. Moore’s violent behavior, including the previous assault and the fact he allegedly stabbed one of Jackie’s dogs, should have been enough for the authorities to take stronger action. It’s alarming that a person with such a dangerous history was able to continuously violate protection orders. I can't help but feel for Jackie’s family and friends who have lost such a beloved person under such horrific circumstances. Her service in the NY court system for over 30 years demonstrates her dedication and compassion. It's infuriating to think that despite her own contributions to the justice system, she was left so vulnerable by it in her final days. For those interested in doing something to help, her family has started a GoFundMe to cover funeral expenses, and I think it’s a powerful way to support them. As a community, we need to rally around them at this challenging time. Also, I hope this raises awareness about how cases involving restraining orders are handled. It’s evident there’s a dire need for reform to prevent more tragedies like this from occurring. Let's keep Jackie’s memory alive and add our voices to those calling for justice. My heart truly goes out to everyone impacted by this devastating situation. Stay safe, everyone.

Does anyone else feel utterly frustrated by how the justice system seems to have failed Jackie and her family? It's incredibly difficult to understand why someone with such a violent history as Moore was able to remain free until this tragedy occurred. The fact that he had previously harmed Jackie and her pets and was still out on bail is bewildering. It makes me think about how we might better protect victims like Jackie in the future. My heart truly goes out to her family and friends, who must be experiencing a level of grief most of us can't even imagine. They shouldn't have to deal with this on top of everything else. Let’s hope this case can serve as a wake-up call for changes to prevent such oversights in the future.

It’s deeply unsettling to think about the circumstances leading up to Jackie, Levaughn, and Zeus’s tragic deaths. I can’t wrap my head around how someone with such a volatile history like Moore’s was able to walk free after the assault in April. The system really failed Jackie and her loved ones. Reading about how devoted Jackie was to her work and community hits hard. Being in the New York State court system for over 30 years, she likely believed the judicial system would protect her. It's incredibly unjust how things turned out. How are these warning signs not taken more seriously? I truly hope that the indictment against Moore brings some form of justice to Jackie’s family. They've been through way more than anyone should have to endure. If there's any silver lining in this tragedy, maybe it'll bring some necessary changes to protect others in the future. Sending strength and love to everyone mourning Jackie, Levaughn, and Zeus.
