Hey everyone,
Has anyone seen updates on the technology that the Schenectady Police used to solve this case so quickly? I'm amazed by how they managed to track down the suspects in just a few hours. From what Chief Clifford mentioned, it seems like their camera network and other tech tools were game-changers here.
It’s reassuring to know these resources are in place, but it also makes you think about privacy and how surveillance is expanding. It's such a tough balance to strike. Also, my heart goes out to Leroy Chisom’s family and friends. This senseless act is just devastating, and I hope they find some comfort in knowing that the suspects have been caught.
If anyone knows more about the tech side of this, I'd be interested to learn how much it's being used elsewhere!
Stay safe,

Has anyone else been following the tech aspect of the Schenectady case? I find it fascinating how the police used the city's network of cameras and sensors to track down the suspects so quickly. It's amazing to see how technology can aid in solving these tragic events. But it also makes you think about privacy—how much of our day-to-day is really being watched? While I'm relieved for the victim's family that the suspects were apprehended promptly, the whole situation makes me realize how much the world is changing. Thoughts on how tech like this can impact future investigations?
It's incredibly painful to imagine what Leroy Chisom's family must be going through right now. Losing someone to such violence is beyond devastating, especially knowing this may have been tied to another incident from earlier. I find myself wondering about the connections between the individuals involved and how this spiral of violence could have possibly been stopped before it escalated to this point.
The use of the city's camera and sensor network in solving the crime is intriguing. It goes to show how technology can play a crucial role in modern policing. However, I can't help but think about whether this reliance on tech makes up for the lack of community trust and cooperation. Perhaps if the earlier victim had felt safer to come forward, this might have been prevented. More focus on community outreach and restoring trust could be key in preventing future tragedies like this one.
Thinking of Leroy's loved ones and hoping they find some measure of peace and justice.
