Hey everyone, I can’t stop thinking about Francisco Gordillo and how absolutely tragic this whole situation is for his family and community. What stands out to me is the young age of the suspect, Ludvin Ramos-Cervantes. At just 18, it’s difficult to comprehend how someone’s life could take such a devastating turn. What leads a young person down such a dark path? I wonder if there were any warning signs or issues in Ramos-Cervantes’ life that might have indicated he was capable of such a violent act. It reminds us of the importance of mental health resources and support systems for young people. This doesn't lessen the tragedy for Francisco's loved ones, but it's a conversation worth having to hopefully prevent future incidents. My thoughts are with Francisco’s family and everyone affected by this senseless violence.
