Just stumbled onto this case, and I can't stop thinking about the incredible bravery shown by Lt. Hoosock on that fateful night. It’s unimaginable what his family must be going through now. He was not only a dedicated officer but also a volunteer firefighter. This guy was literally putting himself in harm's way on a daily basis to keep the rest of us safe. It’s so hard to wrap my head around the idea that someone like him, with so much selflessness and service, had his life cut short like this. My heart goes out to Caitlin and their kids—I can't even begin to fathom the pain they're enduring. It's heartbreaking to see such devoted public servants pay the ultimate price, and it brings home just how dangerous this line of work really is.

Hey everyone, This case has really stuck with me, and I can't stop thinking about the ripple effects of that awful night in Liverpool, especially concerning Officer Jensen's sacrifice. I know a lot of focus has been on Lieutenant Hoosock, and rightfully so, but Officer Jensen also deserves recognition for his bravery during this chaotic event. From what I’ve read, Officer Jensen was in his early 30s, just a couple of years into his career. It feels like he barely got the chance to make his mark and grow into his role, which makes his loss feel even more profound. He willingly put himself in harm's way in the effort to protect others, and that's an incredible testament to his character and courage. I find myself wondering how his fellow officers are coping with losing him so early in their careers. Imagining the impact on his family is difficult. It's hard to fathom what they're going through, especially with the suddenness of it all. I hope the families of both Officer Jensen and Lieutenant Hoosock are receiving the support they need from the community to navigate this unimaginable grief. Thank you for creating a space where we can all process something so disturbing and tragic together. Heroes like Officer Jensen remind us why communities and support networks are so crucial in times like these.
