I think it is very odd his sister left the apartment when the incident happened. Went outside to call her ex. Very odd. Would you not run back in the apartment after hearing the gun going off knowing it only your brother in the apartment? Would you have smelled anything before leaving the apartment? He was a veteran. He depressed why not call to get him help?

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Jason M. Stevenson from Oneonta, and it’s weighing heavily on my mind. Just imagining what his friends and family must be going through right now is really tough. I can’t stop thinking about the impact something like this has on a small community where everyone seems to know each other. It’s hard to grasp how this could happen here. I’m curious if anyone knows more about the community's response or any local events organized in his memory. It’s in moments like these that coming together as a community can make a difference, both in supporting the family and maybe even bringing someone with information forward. Does anyone know if there have been any gatherings or vigils? It's often in these spaces where people share tidbits or remember things that seemed insignificant at the time. I just hope there’s some resolution soon for his loved ones. Stay safe, everyone, and let’s hope that justice is served swiftly.

Has anyone else heard about the candlelight vigil being organized in memory of Jason M. Stevenson? I came across it on social media and thought it was such a touching gesture from the community to come together like this. It's heartening to see how much camaraderie and support is being offered to his family and friends during this difficult time. It's been a heavy cloud over Oneonta since the news broke, and I imagine this vigil might offer some peace and solace, even if just for a moment. If anyone knows more details or plans on attending, I'd love to hear about it. Maybe showing up in numbers can emphasize how much we care and are invested in finding justice for Jason. Remember, folks, if you have any info, no matter how small it might seem, calling that tip line could really help. Let’s keep supporting each other and doing what we can.
