Hello everyone,
I've been following Kacy Michelle Ross's case and keep thinking about the jurisdictional issues her family is dealing with. It's so frustrating that these legal lines can complicate efforts to find a missing person, especially when someone's life could be at stake. I've read that some missing person cases involving Indigenous women fall through the cracks because of these bureaucratic hurdles. Why aren't there more streamlined processes to handle cases that cross state or reservation lines? This case really highlights a flaw in the system that I hope gets more attention. Is anyone aware of any movements or legislative efforts trying to address these kinds of issues? Kacy's family shouldn’t have to fight both for her and against red tape.
Does anyone know what Kacy's social media activity was like before she disappeared? I’m curious whether her posts or interactions give any clues about her state of mind or who she might have been associating with. I’ve seen in other cases where social media activity can provide little breadcrumbs. Did she mention any new friends, locations, or perhaps reach out to someone for help? I think even seemingly insignificant details could potentially be helpful to her family and those trying to find her. Just trying to brainstorm ways to help. Thoughts?
