Has anyone else been following the details about Stacy Durham's tragic death? I've been thinking about how the car was just sitting there on the corner of Edgefield and Hollis for who knows how long before someone reported it. It feels so unsettling to think of the busy lives people lead every day, and all while something so devastating was right there. It really makes me appreciate how communities need to look out for one another.
With Jermain Small being the last person seen with her, it intensifies the mystery. It's unnerving imagining him just driving her car to that spot. With his criminal background, I hope the investigators can piece together more of what happened that night. My thoughts are with Stacy's loved ones as they navigate the shock of this terrible loss.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the aftermath for Stacy Durham’s family and friends. It’s incredibly difficult to imagine what they must be going through right now—starting a new year with such devastating news. It makes me wonder about the toll that this kind of violence takes on those left behind.
The fact that Jermain Small was charged so quickly might bring some solace, but it’s also clear that there’s still so much to uncover. What was the connection between them, and why did it have to end so tragically? Also, knowing that Small had a history of firearms despite his previous convictions only adds to the complexity of understanding why these terrible things happen. Sending lots of love and strength to everyone who knew Stacy during this incredibly tough time.
Hey everyone, I stumbled across this case recently, and it’s been on my mind ever since. It’s so unsettling to think about how quickly life can change. Something that’s really been bothering me is the fact that this took place so close to a residential area. I can’t imagine how the community in Moline Acres is feeling right now, especially the neighbors near Edgefield and Hollis. I hope they have the support they need to process this tragic event.
Do any locals know if there are any plans for a community vigil or gathering in memory of Stacy Durham? I think it’s important for communities to come together in times like this and support one another. My thoughts are certainly with Stacy’s loved ones and everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.
