Has anyone heard anything more about the impact this tragic event has had on the local high school? I read in a news article that both Garron and the 17-year-old suspect attended the same school. It's devastating to think about the ripple effect this must have had on their classmates and teachers. There's already so much pressure and stress in schools these days, and now students have to grapple with a tragedy like this on top of everything else. I hope the school provides proper support and counseling for those affected. Anything to help them process this loss and the complicated feelings it brings up. If anyone has more insight or is from the area, I'd appreciate hearing how the school community is coping.
