I can't stop thinking about the community impact of the Riverview shooting. Corian Edwards was just 15, with his whole life ahead of him, alongside three other boys who were caught in the tragic crossfire. It’s chilling to imagine 30 gunshots ringing out in what should be a safe neighborhood. No one has been arrested yet, and it seems we’re no closer to answers after all these months. I hope this post might encourage someone to come forward with information. Remember, you can remain anonymous through CrimeStoppers. Corian’s friends and family deserve closure, and the whole community needs to feel safe again. Thoughts with everyone trying to heal from this.
Does anyone else find it concerning that there hasn't been any significant progress publicly shared about the investigation into Corian Edwards's tragic death? It's been over seven months since that awful night in May, and it seems so disheartening for the families who are still searching for answers. With all those gunshots reported, it's hard to believe there aren't more leads. I really hope those who know something find the courage to speak up. The community deserves to feel safe and to have justice for young lives like Corian's. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. ? Please remember, if anyone has information, it's crucial to reach out to the authorities or CrimeStoppers. Even the smallest detail could make a difference.
I've been thinking a lot about Corian Edwards and the other boys affected by the shooting. It’s so difficult to comprehend what their families and friends must be going through, especially as the holiday season rolls around. I can’t help but wonder if they know who these boys were with that night or why they were in that area. It’s horrifying to think that there were 30 gunshots fired, and yet nothing concrete has come from it—no arrests, no real leads publicized.
Mayor Cornell's comments about the shooting potentially being gang-related leave a lot of open questions and assumptions. It just doesn't seem like an 100% certainty, and I worry about the impact that could have on perceptions within the community. Gang-related or not, these are still young lives affected, and Corian’s life lost.
It’s crucial for anyone who can help to come forward, even anonymously, to get some justice and closure for the families. My thoughts are with them, and I hope something breaks in this case soon. If anyone in the local area has heard anything or knows of community initiatives being planned to help, please share.
