Does anyone else find it odd how little information we have about the suspect(s) in Gregory Mills' case? It's like he simply vanished into thin air. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and pain his family must be going through right now, not knowing who is responsible. It's been months, and yet, not much progress has been reported. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras around during the time of the incident. It's hard to believe that there weren't any eyewitnesses at a gathering that likely had so many people. I really hope detectives are just keeping details under wraps for strategic reasons and not because the trail's gone cold. Anyone living nearby with more insights about the area?
I was reading through some articles about the tragic events on July 4th this year and couldn’t help but think about how the timing of Greg Mills' shooting seems so baffling. It’s terrible to think that on a night when families are gathered to celebrate, something this horrific could happen. With the shooting happening just before 10:30 p.m., I wonder if there’s any significance to the timing — was this meant to coincide with the noise of fireworks to mask the shots, or merely an unfortunate coincidence?
It’s unsettling to imagine that someone could disappear into the night so effortlessly after such a violent act. The community must be on edge, wondering if it was random or if there’s more behind it. My heart goes out to Greg's family and friends; they're not just facing the loss of a loved one but also the uncertainty and lack of closure that comes with the case still being unsolved. Sending strength to them and hoping that witnesses or anyone with information will come forward to help get some answers.
Has anyone else noticed the eerie timing of these two shootings in North St. Louis County? It's troubling that Gregory Mills and D’Mon Ward were both killed on the same night, just 30 minutes and a few miles apart, during what was supposed to be a joyful celebration. I can’t stop thinking about Gregory’s family and friends, who must be devastated trying to make sense of his loss on a night that was meant for community and togetherness. And to imagine the chaos during the second shooting with fireworks still going off—I can't even begin to fathom how terrifying that must have been for everyone involved.
It’s frustrating and scary that no suspects or motives have been shared yet. Do these two incidents seem connected to anyone else, or is it just a tragic sequence of events? My heart goes out to all the families dealing with the aftermath, and I hope we see justice served soon. Has anyone in the area heard any updates or whispers about what might have happened that night?
