Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Raheem Porter? I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through right now. I read that the police were able to arrest Daquann Barnes pretty quickly after the incident, which is a relief in terms of justice being served. But it just makes me wonder about the community impact and what leads to violence in the first place. I mean, Auburn and Ellison streets must be reeling from this, and I hope the authorities are doing something to prevent future tragedies. It's scary to think how a life can be taken so suddenly and senselessly. Does anyone know if there’s been any community support or initiatives as a result of this? I’d love to see something positive come out of such a devastating situation. Sending all my thoughts to those who knew and loved Raheem.
