Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Limon Little and Ira Briscoe case for a while now, and something that I find odd is the location where their remains were found. Does anyone know much about Lanton, Missouri? I’ve been trying to dig up some background on the area—like, is it known for anything in particular, or is there a history of other mysterious activity there? From what I gather, Lanton is pretty rural, which makes me wonder how someone came across that specific cistern to hide the bodies. Is it a spot that locals would know about, or something more hidden away? Could the choice of location suggest that whoever’s responsible had some familiarity with the area? I keep thinking there must be a reason they ended up there, especially since it's not right next to where they lived in West Plains. My heart goes out to their families, and I hope that more answers come to light soon. If anyone here knows about similar cases or has theories on why they might have been taken to Lanton, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Stay safe, everyone!
