Has anyone else been following the tragic incident in Mount Jackson? I keep thinking about the aftermath for those who survived that horrible night. It's already a lot to lose people you know and care about so suddenly, but then to heal from the physical wounds and process the trauma must be incredibly challenging. I read that one of the surviving victims actually lived at the residence where it happened. Imagine trying to go back to your home after something so terrifying occurs right on your doorstep. My thoughts are definitely with them as they navigate such a painful recovery. Does anyone know if there are any local initiatives beyond the memorial fund that are offering support to the survivors? They’re facing a long road ahead and any additional help would hopefully make a difference.
