I've been following the case of Quamond Trevez Crenshaw, and my heart truly goes out to his family. It’s just unimaginable to think about how his brother, Trevon, had to witness such a distressing scene. I can't even begin to fathom the trauma this might cause. What struck me the most is Quamond's dream of becoming a long-distance truck driver and owning a trucking company. It’s so tragic to see a young life, full of ambition and promise, cut short in such a violent way. He clearly had goals that he was passionate about, and it makes you think about what could have been. I’m relieved to know that the police have made an arrest, but I’m really hoping it brings the family some sense of closure or justice, even if it’s just a little. Does anyone know if there’s been any community support or memorials set up for him? I think it’s important we show up for families like Quamond’s during such times.

Has anyone here read about the tragic passing of Quamond "Cubby" Crenshaw? It's such a sobering reminder of how fleeting life can be. The fact that this happened near a playground, where children are meant to feel safe and carefree, makes it even more disturbing. Kids had to witness this, and that kind of trauma can be long-lasting. My heart goes out to Quamond's family and to all the little ones who were nearby that day. No child or family should have to go through something like this. If only there were more community resources to help curb youth violence. Has anyone heard if there are initiatives being discussed in Prince George County to improve safety in these areas? I really hope there is ongoing dialogue about it. The lives of these teenagers could take such a different path if they knew there were alternative supports and opportunities available. My thoughts are with the entire community impacted by this tragedy.

Hey everyone, I'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened to Cubby. The part of this case that's been really weighing on me is the doorbell camera footage. It haunts me thinking about how such a normal, everyday piece of technology captured the sound of such a devastating moment. It's chilling to imagine the children playing one moment and then being thrust into chaos the next. I can't even begin to fathom the fear they must have felt, and I hope they're getting all the support they need after witnessing something so traumatic. The community must be in shock, especially those who witnessed the incident directly or heard the shot. I'm just thankful they managed to capture valuable evidence, but wow, it really brings home how fragile life can be. Thoughts with Quamond's family as they navigate this unbearable loss, and hoping the footage and other evidence bring them closer to justice for Cubby. Stay safe, everyone. If you know anything, please speak up. No family should have to go through this.
