I'm really feeling for the Mason family right now. I wanted to bring up something that's been bothering me: the gun safety training available in communities. Benjamin clearly didn't mean for this to happen, but I can't help but wonder if better access to training and education could have prevented this tragedy. It seems like there’s a real need for more resources and awareness on how to handle firearms safely, especially with more people getting guns for protection these days. Does anyone know if there are efforts in Hopewell or similar communities to offer gun safety courses? Maybe something low-cost or even free that people can attend to learn how to use, store, and handle firearms responsibly could make a difference. I just keep thinking about how a basic understanding could save lives and prevent accidents like this from happening in the future. Sending my deepest sympathies to the family and all who loved Charmel. It's such a senseless loss, and I hope the community can come together to support and learn from this.
