Has anyone else been following the case of Wayne Morris’s murder? I just can't stop thinking about the impact this must have on his family and friends. I recently read that he was a well-loved member of his community, and it makes me sad to think about the void his loss has undoubtedly left behind. With Tyree Soto now in custody and facing serious charges, I'm really hoping justice will be served. But as we wait for the trial, I can't help but feel anxious for Wayne's loved ones, having to relive this nightmare every time there's a new development in the case. It's a reminder of how these violent acts leave ripples through entire communities. Has anyone attended any of the community meetings about gun violence following this incident? I’ve heard there’s been a push to do more to address these issues locally, and I’m curious if folks think it's helping or if there’s more that could be done.
