Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic events surrounding the shooting at the Dollar General in Mappsville, and my heart goes out to Maurice Holden's family and friends. One thing that really sticks out to me is the location. A Dollar General is such a public place, and it's unnerving to think that something so awful could happen in a spot where many of us go frequently. There must have been witnesses or even camera footage given how populated these stores usually are. I'm wondering if anyone has more insight on whether there were people in the store at the time who might have seen something crucial. It seems like their accounts could be vital in understanding what exactly led to this devastating moment. It’s hard to imagine the shock the customers and employees must have felt that evening. If anyone has more details or perspectives, please share. It's important that we piece together what we can to support Maurice's loved ones and help them find some sense of closure. Stay safe, everyone, and let's keep the conversation going.
